Yeah, I can imagine most took to private discords and friend groups because of all the drama and ridicule. The only active platform I know of is Amino, and while it isn't quite the same since it's social media, Therian Amino is pretty close to how a lot of the old otherkin groups used to be. They've become sort of a safe place for most reasonable kin who can't stand the other groups, so you'll find acceptance of fictionkin, otherkin and others alongside therianthropy talk, and it's quite active with 6000 members so far. If you haven't checked it out already, it might be your thing.
Yeah, Werelist was more for those who experienced otherkinity (and specifically therianthropy) from an animalistic POV, so less about what it was like to be sapient or civilized, and more about the nitty gritty, sometimes unpretty experience of being animals and animalkin.
